Hotel Minho is a charming hotel in the north of Portugal, in the “Arts’ village” of Cerveira (due to its Arts’ Biennale), in the magical region of Minho. A true hidden treasure in the birth-land of Portugal, Minho is best known for its Green Wine Alvarinho, appreciated and awarded worldwide, a place with Celtic and Roman influences in the northern border of the country, that shares cultural and historical traits with neighboring Galicia (Spain) and has to offer breathtaking landscapes (old fortresses, river valleys, forested hillsides, trailing vines and sandy beaches). 

Nature, history and a wonderful hotel and SPA. These are the main ingredients of Hotel Minho, originally opened in 2005, but fully refurbished with the precision of a watchmaker and reopened in September 2013, with the same spirit as ever: present its guests memorable experiences in the magical and serene atmosphere of Cerveira. Located 8,5 km away from the center of Cerveira, 102 km from Porto’s Sá Carneiro Airport (motorways A28) and being very close to the northern border of Galicia (and only 40 km away from Vigo’s airport; motorway A55), if offers – among other spaces and services – 60 Double Rooms, with a simples but functional decoration; 5 Independent Suites from the main building, with a decoration inspired in 5 different masters of painting; a new Wine Bar, with an unique and high quality collection of Alvarinho’s Green Wines and an ode to intense flavors; a Business Centre, with two meeting rooms fully equipped and adapted to your business needs; the SPA Hotel Minho, inspired in the values of the region, honey and green wine; and the nearby Restaurant Dom Júlio, a reference for local and regional gastronomy, that also has rooms for banquets and big eventos.
