Vila Nova de Cerveira - Fortress of Valença - Monção

Vila das Artes gained territorial expression after the Arab invasions, reinforcing itself with the autonomization of the Portucalense County, in 1096, and with the granting of the Charter of Charter by D. Dinis, it was 1321. It is a promise of the mountain that extends to the Minho River ... discovering it is a challenge for the senses. Valenca Fortress
It dates back to the transition from the 12th century to the 13th century. It was intended to defend the village and the crossing of the Minho River. In the 17th century the project grows with the authorship of Miguel de L'Ècole.
